Topic created by kathyu on Tue Jun 12, 2012 at 4:49 pmCan someone give me some tips on when and how to see live Jukola coverage on the web? We have cable and a web connected TV. Also, what is the time difference? I'm so confused, but what else is new? And speaking of the weekend, the Reading Eagle is sending a photographer to Mt. Penn, so Sunday will be fun for us stay-at-homes.

Finland is 7 hours ahead of the eastern US. The women's relay starts at 2pm Finland time so 7am here. The men's relay starts at 10:30pm, so 3:30pm here.
Here is a link to the live results page. I'm not sure how it will work, but it looks like you search by either the team name or the number or the person. Here are the lineups for DVOA:

5 Nate Ohrwaschel

DVOA Venla/Jukola team members are travelling today overseas to join few of us who already in Europe for some time. Tomorrow, Thursday, several of us will go to participate in Forssa Games and get familiar with Finnish terrain, while on Friday we plan to run on Jukola training maps. -
Reply by kathyu on Thu Jun 14, 2012 at 3:50 pmThe facebook translations from Finnish are hilarious. "Course kenraaliiin was involved in a large number of toimitsijoita. Good looks."
any further info about internet coverage will be put to good use.
Wishing you all the very best, and have a GREAT time.

Reply by Vadim on Fri Jun 15, 2012 at 7:40 amMost of the team members are already in Helsinki with couple expected to arrive Saturday morning. Yesterday we drove to Forssa Games and had our first experience with Finnish terrain. Today we went for a training at nearby maps specifically designated for Jukola training and I believe it was a much better experience.

Reply by Dasha on Sat Jun 16, 2012 at 3:10 pmHi Everybody!
A brief update from Jukola: Vadim is off to the first leg in the Men's Relay, to be handing off to Greg. The weather is cool, perfect for running. We had a great run at Venla: it was tricky, physical, but a lot of fun! Great runs by everybody.
There is no steady internet access, but we will try to post more as soon as we are able!
Go DVOA!
