To overprint courses on existing maps you need a few things:

  1. The map has to exist as an OCAD file and you need that file. Fred Kruesi is in charge of distribution of OCAD map files for DVOA.
  2. The latest version of OCAD installed on your computer (demo versions are available for free download - they can't handle a full set of courses but can do three at a time I think).
  3. 3. The maps of the park you want to print the courses on.
  4. 4. A color printer that will handle the maps (some maps are large and need a large format printer).

If you have all of those things, setting it all up to print courses is not that hard and I can talk you through it the first time. I taught myself using the help files that come with OCAD.

The club owns a large format printer that is currently in Sandy Fillebrown's possession. If you get her the maps and the courses and can speand a few hours at her house in Philadelphia she is happy to print courses for any event.
