Notes: The almost one kilometer walk to start is a bit of an adventure with two creek crossings. Wire bridges are available for those that are able to reach the wires, or you may cross at a shallow spot for those that choose to stay on the ground. You can bring old shoes to wade across and change into your O shoes before you start. Someone will move them to the finish area while you are out on the course. Use the directions to the Birdsboro Rustic Picnic area where we have reserved a pavilion. Course data will be available soon. They are just a little shorter than normal to make up for the long walk to start, but be ready for a bit of climb. Parking: There are lots of activities here on weekends. We will be sharing the parking area with rock climbers, dog walkers, and other casual hikers. Last weekend there were 4 horse trailers that took up a lot of room. Come early. If the lot is full, there is another parking area on the same street but closer to town at a ball field. It is not reserved for anyone so get there before game time and grab your spot. If you park there go under the RR tracks at the NW end of the lot and walk upstream through the park until you find us. Use the \\\"North Side\\\" directions that appear below. We are NOT at the Kulptown Firehouse this time. Remember that clicking on the map name will give you both a locator map and a set of GPS coordinates for the parking area.
