RouteGadget Instructions
To have an event posted in RouteGadget (RG), certain files are needed by the RouteGadget administrator, currently Doug Sevon. The key RG inputs are the courses and the results. The event director should follow the normal process for reporting results.
There are a couple of options for the courses. If Condes was used to prepare the courses, the Condes file should be emailed to the RG administrator. If OCAD was used to prepare the courses, the OCAD course file should be emailed to the RG administrator. If additional map details were added to the base OCAD map file, also email the OCAD map file to the RG administrator. For hand drawn courses that weren't put into OCAD or Condes for printing, the RG administrator may be willing to re-create the courses in Condes for use in RG. Contact the RD administrator to discuss this option.
